Last Teaser

Last teaser pic until it's finished. Just to get an idea of what's going on. Keep in mind, that nothing in the picture is bolted tightly or really mounted. I just stuck a few things together for mock up. My seat and tailight are on loan to the Weinerschnitzel, my rear fender is among the missing, and I still need to wire and make some mounts. Overall though, this is pretty close to what it's gonna look like.

So I'm looking at your last post just now, ready to leave a rave review and then my screen refreshes. Lo and behold, there's my name up in lights; 'Weinerschnitzel'. Thanks! Ooops. I just dropped the light in the gravel. Ooops. Clumsy me, I just stepped on it....

That's a long ass drag pipe!

Hahaha. Yeah, I got them long so I could cut them down proper like. Probably lop off about an inch before where the baloney cut starts.

(And brush the dirt off my light holmes!)

That looks good for a chick's bike!

THough i will say the way the backbone sticks up past the tail section drop in the seat area makes me nuts...

I was kinda hoping nobody would notice, and maybe you won't once the seat's on, but it drives me nuts too. I really asked Dave to make it flow as straight as possible with the lower frame rails to the axel plate, but that's how he did it.

Funny thing about that, too. Dave sorta did his own thing with my Yamaha frame, too. It's not terrible, but it isn't exactly what I wanted.

Yeah, not bad at all but not what I had hoped for. I give it a 95 out of a 100. I know it's not his fault. Trying to keep frames and dimensions all working correctly and also keeping the cust happy is a tricky situation.

I'm still 100% stoked about it, I think he did a superb job, and I can't wait to finish it up.

Looking forward to the Yammy too Jay! We need some pics.
